We have received the email below from SMDC:


Our understanding as presented prior to the General Election, that wider issues such as  the actual number of houses and interaction with the Potteries were also going to be part of the Consultation (not just sites). We are going to highlight this in a response. The ONS 2012 Sub Population study identifies a significant drop in population demand around the Staffordshire Moorlands. Until we understand the true level of housing required, it is surely not appropriate to expect Cheadle to swallow such a large housing allocation. We will write a list of Key concerns for residents (Consultation Notes)  in case you wish to highlight them in a response.
